First release of 2021
The Dutch rock band Within Temptation is about to release new work, it will be be the first release of 2021. In an earlier interview, front woman Sharon den Adel explained they are about to release 3 singles every year, 6 in two years and eventually release a potential album release. Unfortunately, the band did not reach that goal in 2020, will they reach this goal in 2021? As the band is now fully independent, the band has full control on what and when to release new work.
The most concrete goal is to release three singles per year and six singles every two years, with eventually a potential album release. The direct goal is to release new tracks more consistently, resulting in both the band and the fans being at the forefront of fresh, newly composed music.

New Within Temptation release
Seven months after their last single, “The Purge”, Within Temptation will release their newest single “Shed My Skin”. The digital release is set for June 25, 2021 and will have its music video premier in the virtual live show which Within Temptation will host on July 8 and July 9.
