Within Temptation to release “The Silent Force” on vinyl LP

We wrote about this before, now it’s confirmed! Within Temptation will release their 2004-release “The Silent Force” on limited edition vinyl LP for the very first time, via Music on Vinyl.

The Silent Force

After the big national success of Within Temptation, with their 2000-release “Mother Earth“, the Dutch rock band was ready to go worldwide. With their 2004-release “The Silent Force”, Within Temptation was ready to rock. With their new release, Within Temptation worked with new musicians, producers and with a true orchestra and choir.

This is the first album where Ruud Jolie joined the band on lead guitars. Brother and keyboard player of founder and guitarist Robert Westerholt, Martijn Westerholt, left the band due to illness. He got replaced by Martijn Spierenburg. Also a new drummer for the band got introduced, Stephen van Haestregt. However, he already joined the band back in 2002, during the “Mother Earth Tour”-era, to replace drummer Ivar de Graaf.

Vinyl LP

Back in 2018, we wrote about several Within Temptation records to be released on vinyl LP. It is pretty common these days, artists releasing their music on Vinyl LP, this kind of media made a strong comeback. Besides that, some artists even re-issue their album on limited and coloured discs. So did Within Temptation, with their releases for “The Dance“, “Enter” and “Mother Earth“.
