An Audience With… Within Temptation!
It’s their first performance in the UK in more than two years – and they’re coming here! The band will be at the studios of Kerrang! Radio in Birmingham for an exclusive and intimate gig. You’ll get to watch a special acoustic set and then hang out with the band for a Q & A session and signings afterwards. It’s a 1pm start on Thursday, February 3rd.

Hello everyone,
As we are all gearing up for the release of our new album I have news which might come as a surprise:Robert and I are expecting a child. To be honest, this was not planned at all, but we’re very happy about it as we experience our kids as an enrichment of our lives.
I’m happy to tell you that the release of our new album will not change: March 2011! The recordings for the album are completed and the songs are being mixed right now, all preparations for the release are in full swing, so there is no reason to put things on hold.
However, we couldn’t avoid rescheduling our tour as it will be impossible for me to deliver a great show for you while being in the final months of my pregnancy. Also due to the complications during the previous pregnancies it is dangerous for our baby and for me to be very active in these final months.
The tour dates have already been re-scheduled to the fall of 2011. The tickets you have bought will remain valid for the new dates which can be found on this page. We understand that the re-scheduling of our tour is a blow for you and we can only sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused as we very much appreciate the fact that so many of you have bought tickets for the shows early on.
We hope for your understanding and support and we’ll do everything to make the up-coming tour the best you’ve ever seen from us yet!

Terwijl we ons allemaal aan het voorbereiden zijn op de release van ons nieuwe album, komt er nog een verrassend nieuwtje tussendoor: Robert en ik verwachten een kindje! Om eerlijk te zijn was deze zwangerschap niet gepland, maar ondanks dat zijn we er natuurlijk ontzettend blij mee.
Gelukkig kan ik jullie vertellen dat de release van ons nieuwe album gewoon blijft staan op maart 2011. De opnames zijn al afgerond en verdere voorbereidingen voor de release zijn in volle gang, geen enkele reden voor uitstel dus.
Helaas konden we het verplaatsen van onze tour niet vermijden, aangezien het voor mij onmogelijk is een onvergetelijke show neer te zetten tijdens de laatste maanden van mijn zwangerschap. Door complicaties tijdens mijn vorige zwangerschappen zou het ook simpelweg gevaarlijk zijn voor de gezondheid van de baby en mijzelf om in de laatste periode nog zo actief bezig te zijn.
Onze tour is inmiddels al volledig verplaatst naar de herfst van 2011 met de toevoeging van verschillende extra shows o.a. in 013 Tilburg. Tickets die zijn gekocht voor originele data blijven uiteraard geldig voor de nieuwe data, het volledige schema is te vinden op: http://www.within-temptation.com/tourdates/
We begrijpen volkomen dat de verplaatsing van de tour een grote teleurstelling voor jullie is en we bieden dan ook onze oprechte excuses aan voor het ongemak. We hopen op jullie begrip en support. Hi an Alle !
Nachdem wir uns schon alle für das Album rüsten , habe ich nun News welche sehr überraschend sein dürften : Robert und Ich erwarten ein Kind .
Um ehrlich zu sein , es war nicht geplant , aber wir sind sehr glücklich über das , über die Bereicherung unseres Lebens
Ich bin sehr glücklich euch mitteilen zu können das sich dar VeröffentlichungsTermin unseres Album nicht verändern wird – März 2011 -
Die Aufnahmen unseres Albums sind abgeschlossen und die Songs sind auch schon fertig gemixt
Alle Vorbereitungen für die Veröffentlichung sind im vollen Gange , es gibt also keinen Grund den Vorgang zu stoppen
Wie auch immer , wir konnten einfach nicht vermeiden , die Tourdaten zu verändern
Es ist unmöglich für mich eine perfekte Show in meinen letzten Monaten meiner Schwangerschaft zu liefern
Auch während meinen vorherigen Schwangerschaften war es gefährlich für unser Baby und für mich in diesen letzten Monaten aktiv zu sein
Die Tourdaten wurden bereits in den herbst 2011 verschoben. Die Tickets die ihr gekauft habt bleiben natürlich für den nächsten Termin gültig.
Wir verstehen das die Verschiebung unserer Tour ein Schock für euch sein muss und wir bedauern die Unernehmlichkeiten die wir verursacht haben
Wir schätzen die Tatsache das so viele von euch Karten schon so früh Karten für die Tour gekauft haben
Wir hoffen auf euer Verständniss und Unterstützung und wir werden alles tun um unsere kommende Tour zur besten Tour zu machen die ihr jemals erlebt habt

New Shoot!

Unlike last Tuesday where only I had to pose for the camera, today we’re all there for the band photo shoot.
Though we rather make noise we like to call music, than to pose for the camera it’s still always good fun cause the whole band is there. And after some time and there’s a lot of catching up to do as well as looking forward to all the things to come. Just like our new album we are going to try to do some things different so it’s going to be interesting if it’s going to work out.The result we can’t show you this week yet but we’ll try to give you a sneak peak later today.

Ronald Kolk
On September 6th, Sharon shall open the anniversary show of Dutch couturier Ronald Kolk in the grand ballroom of Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky in Amsterdam.
At this occasion, both Dutch artists will announce a new collaboration.
Ronald Kolk is an internationally renowened fasion designer who has worked with stars such as Bette Midler, Tina Turner, Grace Jones and The Pointer Sisters.
Kolk is famous for using the best, most valuable fabrics and assesoires available. Ronald Kolk shall design the new wardrobe for us which will be worn for the artwork photo shooting for our upcoming new album and for our world tour in 2011.
The collaboration starts with a spectacular opening of Ronald Kolk’s “Couture Boudoir Noir” anniversary show which will be held for 550 selected guest on September 6th in Amsterdam

Hi all;=)I hope you have a great day like I have had;=)
Tonight I am going to the studio again for the project I am working on. This is a project with two songwriters, Fredrik Bergh (Street talk, Bloodbound) and Martijn Spierenburg (Within Temptation). Great guys and songwriters and its an honour for me to record their songs;=)
What we will do with this project I will tell you more about as soon as I can of course;=)
The song I am doing at the moment is really fun to sing and tonight I will do the harmonies for it.

Finally we can announce you the date of the Fanclubday 2010!
The fanclubday will take place at:

We hope to give you the location as soon as possible, when we do there will be a FAQ online with all the information you need about the day itself.
On this fanclubday we will celebrate our fifth birthday with you
With the exclusive VIP lounge which you can still enter the contests on the website and in the fanzine for.
We have a few VIP tickets left, so be sure to join and maybe we will see you as our VIP on 10-10-10!
There will be a special program, which we hope to tell you more about as soon as possible.
We can tell you that the doors will open at 11.30, and the fanclubday will start at 12.30. It will all be over at 17.30.
