While Within Temptation is performing in their last leg of the 2018 RESIST Tour, they also just announced their North-America and Canada tour ánd recently added some exciting 2019 festivals. Today, the first 2019 European club tour show got confirmed, Within Temptation will perform in Oulu, Finland in January.
2019
2019 is going to be a busy year for the Dutch rock band. Sharon den Adel and her boys are about to drop their seventh full length studio album via their new label Vertigo Music GmbH. The album is set for release 01 February 2019, after the recently announced delay. Next to their seventh album, the summer of 2019 is filled with exciting shows on festivals and Within Temptation will visit North-America and Canada together with the Swedish band In Flames in March 2019.
Next to this all, Within Temptation will kick off 2019 with a new European tour. Today, the first show of this tour got announced. The Dutch rock band will perform in the newly opened Club Teatria in Oulu, Finland, on Friday 18 January 2019. The band will be supported by opening act Dark Sarah.
Dark Sarah is a new project of Heidi Parviainen (ex-Amberian Dawn) that combines elements of metal music, film music and music theater.

RESIST
Just a couple of weeks to go until the original release of the seventh full length studio album of the Dutch rock band Within Temptation. Earlier this year, the band announced their collaboration with German based Vertigo Records GmbH for this album. The album is their first since the 2014-release “Hydra“. The band took a couple of years away from the band after a difficult time for lead singer Sharon den Adel. She later expressed her feelings in her solo project My Indigo.
The album is set for release February 2019 and counts 10 songs. The first single, “The Reckoning” – in collaboration with Papa Roach singer Jacoby Shaddix, was released on 14 September 2018. The second single, “Raise Your Banner” – in collaboration with In Flames singer Anders Fridén, was released on 16 November 2018.
